Called to Give . . .
The Epistle of James reminds us that the needs found in our communities are responded to by Christians in two ways:
First, we must carry those needs before the one who bestows all good things. We carry the
concerns of our communities to God in prayer.
Second, we must be willing to place our faith in action and believe that God often answers our
prayers by calling us to meet those needs.
At Middlesex Church, we strive to respond to the needs of our community in both of these ways.
